Condotel with profit generation rate of 12pct per year is still on paper

In 2018, many experts said that condotel will continue to see the launch of thousands of units for sale, together with profit generation commitment of up to 12pct per year. A real estate company’s research shows that there are now 148 condotel projects from 52 small and big investors. It is forecasted that the supply of this segment will continue to increase by many times and spread across famous tourism cities like Quang Ninh, Nha Trang, Binh Dinh and Phu Quoc.

Hanoi housing projects delayed after investor transfer

After being transferred to new investors, many of Ha Noi's unfinished real estate projects are still delayed, and home buyers are the hardest hit, Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper reported. The municipal People's Committee approved transferring a complex of apartment buildings, offices and commercial services in Xuan Tao Ward, Bac Tu Liem District. For example, 10,800 sq.m Kosmo Tay Ho, whose ownership was transferred from NEWTATCO JSC to Tay Ho View Real Estate JSC, is expected to be completed in Quarter 3, 2019. The committee also approved transferring a section of Dolphin Plaza project on 28 Tran Binh Street, My Binh District - which is planned to be completed in quarter 4, 2019, to Dolphin 2 Joint Stock Company. At the end of last year, AZ Lam Vien building on Nguyen Phong Sac Street was transferred to AZ Real Estate Joint Stock Company. Song Da Thang Long Company handed over CT2-105 building with total investment of over VND1.5 trillion ($65.2 million) to Hai Phat Thu Do Investment Joint Stock Company. Both latter projects are unfinished as the old investor ran out of capital before making the transfer to the new investor.
