Large-sized housing is hard to sell

According to a real estate expert, compared to consumers’ buying power, the high-end apartment market is in oversupply at the present. Most home-buyers of the high-end apartments only buy them as an investment, not to stay in. At some projects, some buyers anticipate high leasing feasibility, but apartment-for-lease supply is pretty abundant at the moment while tenants are not plentiful, so the market sees more supply than demand. Therefore, it is foreseeable that supply and buying of high-end apartments will slow down.

Hanoi: home buyers should not shoulder extra costs for parking lots in apartment projects

Hanoi People’s Committee recently issued a regulation regarding parking lot size for property projects in the city. Obviously, the development of parking lots will add more to the total costs of a project, resulting in investors seeking more ways to get back capital. In the end, only home-buyers are the ones who have to shoulder extra costs. Regarding this matter, Chow Chee Fan, CEO of Gamuda Land Vietnam, said “We will hire parking lots monthly following regulations of Hanoi. Afterward, when there is demand, we will sell them to residents. At the present, we have not yet released sales prices of underground parking lots in our residential areas.”
